Partnerships
Here at The Parks we place high value on the partnerships between school and home. We have an open-door policy which encourages ongoing conversations between staff and parents.
Parent-Teacher meetings, and bi-annual written reports mean that parents are constantly informed of what is happening in the classroom and how their child is progressing.
Parents & Teachers Association
We have an active PTA made up of parent and staff representatives.
The Parks, with the involvement of its parents, actively promotes charitable initiatives and has been able to raise funds for good causes and make sizeable donations in support of Nokuphila Pre-School and the Love Trust Foundation.
Over the past three years, The Parks Community has donated R160 000 which has gone directly towards training pre-primary teachers and supporting the education of children from families with limited means.
The success of our fundraising largely depends on sponsorships and the generosity of our parents. If you are able to assist with products, vouchers, or services that could be included in our annual raffles, please contact the respective PTA rep in your class. Not all events are fundraisers, but our hope is that each and every occasion is a FUN-raiser
